Terms of Service

What this service is
Moto Build Planner is an advisory tool. It suggests aftermarket parts for your motorcycle based on compatibility data we collect and verify, your stated budget, and your goals. We are not a store (nothing is sold here today), we are not a repair shop, and our suggestions are recommendations, not guarantees.
Fitment, installation, and safety
We work hard to only recommend parts with verified compatibility for your exact model and year, and our system is designed to say “we don't know” rather than guess. Even so: always confirm fitment with the part manufacturer or your dealer before purchasing. Motorcycle modifications can affect safety, handling, manufacturer warranties, and insurance. We recommend professional installation for any component you are not qualified to install — especially brakes, suspension, and controls. You are responsible for the condition and operation of your motorcycle.
Emissions and equipment laws
Some aftermarket parts (for example certain exhausts, tuners, and intakes) are regulated by federal or state law (EPA, CARB) and may be labeled for closed-course use only. Vehicle equipment laws vary by state and country. You are responsible for ensuring any part you buy and install is legal for your intended use in your jurisdiction.
Independence and trademarks
We are an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Indian Motorcycle, Buell, or any parts manufacturer or brand mentioned on this site. Vehicle and product names and model codes are used solely to identify compatibility, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Your account
Keep your login credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (including automated scraping, attempting to circumvent rate limits, or interfering with other users). You may stop using the service at any time and may request deletion of your account and data (see the Privacy Policy).
No warranty; limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Prices, availability, and compatibility data can change or contain errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service or from parts purchased or installed based on our recommendations.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves (this is a beta). Material changes will be noted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
